Congress showed its unity in the Dharamsala rally

At last the INC organized a rally in Himachal in which all the top leaders of the state participated, before this every candidate for next CM chair was organizing own rallies in the name of party in the state during past couple of years. The Thursday rally was organized at Dharamsala as “Parivartan Rally’ to give a start to force out the  present Dhumal lead BJP government from  the state in the assembly elections slated for this year end. Thanks to Sonia Gandhi, who recently asked party men to unite if wish to remain in political arena.  If one evaluates this Kangra parliament area rally by presence of public, then it is a poor one, but if one counts the unity factor than it is the success- star of INC in the state.

The congress party today urged the party workers and the cadres to opt for parivartan in the state in the coming vidhan sabha elections which are merely four months away.


The congress party in charge to Himachal Choudhary Virender Singh said that if the congressmen don’t remain united it shall become difficult to throw out BJP government in Himachal. He said that it should be the first mission of the party to win in Himachal.

Addressing gathering at Dari mela ground Dharmashala union minister and former chief minister of Himachal Pradesh Sh Virbhadra Singh said that whatever the state is today is because of the vision of successive congress governments at the state and at the centre. The development of the state of Himachal Pradesh is because of the policies of the congress government. Urging the present chief minister of Himachal Pradesh Sh Prem Kumar Dhumal to be thankful towards the union government at the centre Singh said that they should stop misleading the people of the state. The UPA government has already kept the state in the privileged category like Jammu and Kashmir or certain north east states have been kept. Sh Singh accused the chief minister of non uniform development in the state and thus dividing the state and people from their right to grow financially.


Addressing the rally, 5 time state CM , Vir Bhadra Singh said that Dhumal has the vested interests in HPCA, which is lead by his son, as he provided the valuable land for HPCA’s Five star hotel and  stadium and refused land for central university. He said that land for central university was given in 45 kms apart, and this will be the first university in the country to have campuses in such a Hugh gap of 45 kms, which is tough in hills. “All governments are run by human and there are minor mistakes too, but Himachal’s BJP government is the most corrupt government in India,” said Vir Bhadra

Reiterating the sacrifices made by the congress government in the state of Himachal Pradesh union minister Sh Anand Sharma said that the BJP government of the state is doing wrong publicity to defame the congress party in the state. He said that the UPA government at the centre sustained the financial stability of the country when whole of the world was destabilized by the economical crisis.


Addressing rally another central minister Anand Sharma said that center has provided 27,000 crore in MANREGA to HP and thousand of crores are being given in other schemes to the state. But Himachal government is giving it, the name of BJP. He said that the administration is a total mess under  the power of Dhumal. he said” Congress is united and it will bring out the true picture of BJP govt. of ste to the public”.

Koul Singh Thakur, the state chief of congress said that congress will turn up  BJP’s mission repeat to mission defeat.

One of the organizer of the rally, the MLA of Nagrota, G S Bali said that the party will win 2/3rd majority in the coming elections and otherwise he will quite politics. He said that if like previous elections the muscle power is brought from Punjab during election , it shall not be tolerated.
