Strong earth quack jolted Dharamsala

the strong waves of earth quack forced people to come out of the buildings in Dharamsala in Himachal at 12.27 PM on Wednessday.  The Wadia institute told on phone that the epicenter was on the border of Himachal and J&k with the magnitude of 5.5 to 5.8 which lasted for 3 to 5 seconds. 4 other mild after shocks were also observed the office said. it said that the jerks were felt upto Utterkqashi in Uttrakhand and the northern  region which includes Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.

Dharamsala observed a deadly earth quack of 7.8 magnitude on 4 th April 1905, killing taround  19,800 people  and thousands were injured in the Kangra area. Most buildings were destroyed at Kangra, Mcleodganj and Dharamshala. Damage also extended into the Dehradun area.
