Girls outshine boys in Himachal +2 result

Himachal Board of School Education Has declared the Plus 2 result  on Teusday at Dharamsala . Informing this the Secretary of the Board Mr.Balbir Thakur said that 107208 students appeared in this exam which was conducted by the board in March this year. He said 71653 students declared pass and 19920 were kept in compartment, making the result to 67.1 %. Thakur further informed that last year the result was 65.01%.

Girls occupied all the top positions of Arts,Science,Commerce and Vocational stream in the merit list . Board has declared 69 students in all in the merit were girls occupied 43 positions.

In Arts section   450 ANITA RANI D/O GURMEET SINGH and KRISHNA DEVI of  GOVT SR SEC SCHOOL, PANDOGA stood first by obtaining 450 marks out of 500.  RITU PARMAR D/O SHANKAR SINGH and DEVNA KUMARI  of GOVT SR SEC SCHOOL, GHANARI was second with 446 marks and  DAM INI RANA D/O SWARAN SINGH and PUSHPA RANA  of GOVT SR SEC SCHOOL, KOTLA captured  3rd place with 443 marks.

In Science stream  SUPRIYA AGGARWAL  D/O VISHAL AGGARWAL and RASHMI AGGARWAL  of HIM ACADEMY PUBLIC SCHOOL, Hamirpur declared 1st with 484/500 marks.  SAKSHI D/O  RAKESH VERMA and ARTI VERMA of GOVT SR SEC SCHOOL, CHOWARI stood second with 483/500 marks and  ISHANT JASWAL S/O HOSIAR SINGH and  ANJNA DEVI  of  HIM SARVODAYA SR SEC SCHOOL, GHUMARWIN captured 3rd position with 481/500 marks.

In Commerce stream  all the first four positions  were captured by the students of CAREER ACADEMY SR.SEC.SCHOOL, NAHAN. AAYUSHI BANSAL  D/O  VIKESH BANSAL  and ANU BANSAL  stood 1st with 472/500 marks ,while  RAGHAV MANUJA  S/O ANIL MANUJA and   BINTI MANUJA scored 2nd place with 470 marks.  SHUBHANKAR SRI VAST S/O  VARINDER KUMAR and  KAVYA SRIVASTAVA was 3rd with 465 marks andKESHAV LOHIA  S/O RAJESHWAR LOHIA and SANGEETA LOHIA was 4th with 462 marks.

 

And in Vocational stream ANURADHA  D/O PREM CHAND  and CHAMPA DEVI  of GOVT SR SEC SCHOOL, NANKHARI was 1st with  678/800 marks. ANKITA ROYAL  D/O  JIWA NAND ROYAL and  LEELA ROYAL  of  GOVT SR SEC SCHOOL, BANJAR was on 2nd place with 676/800 marks and  SUBESH KUMAR  S/O RAGHUBIR SINGH and  ASHA DEVI  of  GOVT BOYS SR SEC SCHOOL, JOGINDER NAGAR declared thid with 668/800 marks.
