Inter school under 14 football competition in every district.

After drawing flake in all three matches of Santosh Trophy held at Kolkata recently, team management of Himachal Pradesh Saucer has learnt some lessson from this shamefull performance as f HP Football Federation president Sanjeev Katwal has now at least released the new sports calender for each districts.

In statement released here today, Mr Katwal has directed the all district football associations to organize inter-school under 14 competitions before August 20 next.

Stressing the need to form a strong state football team, he said that it required talent hunt from budding new juniors players who could only be selected from local competitions. He stated that special attention be paid for junior teams to evolved their sports skill to senior team in future.

Mr. Katwal said that State level championship would be organized to further selected the state team to participate in National Football Championship so that state could perform in respectable manure to get dignified position.

State education department has been urged by the association to organise football competition in schools and colleges level so that women teams could be form among them.

He also stressed the need to upgrade the standard of women football team in State.

It is worthwhile to mention here that Himachal Pradesh team had humiliating defeat as it got royal drubbing in the Santosh trophy football championship by 10-0 from Assam and Kerala Himachal in first two matches played on July 21 and 23 respectively and it has been
butchered on July 26 by the minnows Uttrakhand 4-0 at Kolkata
