National fame painters to perform live in Dharamshala:Nijh Society

Nijh World Society in association with North Central Cultural Zone (NCZCC) Ministry of Culture, Govt. of  India, is organising a 7 days National Artist Camp at Hotel Gandhi’s Paradise, Mecloadganj. The camo which started  on 24th Mar’ will conclude on 31st March .


Mrs. Harinansha Bhardwaj, President, Nijh World Society, while taking to PTI said,“Art and Nature are the most blissful elements of life, when put together adds which compels us to host an art camp in this marvelous natural surroundings of Meclaodganj. We have previously hosted art exhibition on account of Environment awareness day, and other occasions. This time we have 10 talented artists from North East, who will work live in this campaign.”

She further informed that the Nijh World Society has been established with the vision of creating a platform for artists, art lovers, curators and critiques to gather together and experience the beauty of art. The society promotes and helps artisans from all walks of life to exhibit their work. The society has been previously associated with Honorable Supreme Court of India, National Commission For Women, Northern Railway, and NCERT. 

The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Sachin Sangar DPRO Distt. Kangra.

The participants in the art camp are some of the prominent artists from North East. The following are the artists who have participated in the art camp:
    Arundhati Choudhary,Golmei Gandumpu,Chandan Bazbaruah,
Sanajaoba Tensubam,Joydeep Bhattacharjee,Rajib Rudra Paul,
 Kaushik Kundu,Navakash ,Kailash Deka,Deepjyoti Das.

 The artists will create live paintings in the camp and in other spots of the city including HPCA Stadium,where the 4th Indo-Ausi Test is on at the moment.
