National fame Artists create wall paintings in Meccleodganj Dharamshala

Nijh World Society in association with North Central Cultural Zone (NCZCC) Ministry of Culture, Govt. of  India, successfully organized National Artist Camp at Hotel Hills Heaven, Mecloadganj. The concept of this particular Art camp was to inspire the artists with the beauty and essence of nature, and facilitate them to create some of the most distinguished art works.

Around a dozen top level participants  of North East India took part in this Camp.  The Camp was organized from  24th Mar’17 to 30th Mar’17, in which the artists have worked for four days, while two days have been kept for excursion.  Mrs Harishansha the organizer  of the camp said,” The artists have created live paintings in the camp and displayed it to the  officials from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.

In order to honor the beauty of Mecloadganj, the society members have created a wall painting in front of Hotel Hills Heaven, Dharamkot Road, Mecloadganj. The wall painting has been created by  Ms. Nishat Rehman, who is a Delhi based visual artist and a passionate travel photographer.


The event ended with celebrating the beauty of Mecloadganj and promoting women empowerment in form of wall art on Dharamkot Road.

Nijh World Society has been established with the vision of creating a platform for artists, art lovers, curators and critiques to gather together and experience the beauty of art. The society promotes and helps artisans from all walks of life to exhibit their work. The society has been previously associated with Honorable Supreme Court of India, National Commission For Women, Northern Railway, and NCERT.
