Music Lovers cheer as the dates close in on

Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival

In its 6th year, the festival has an exciting line-up of non-stop entertainment for a noble cause

Chandigarh, April 3 Monday, 2017 (kulbir singh kalsi):-  Genesis Foundation in association with Fitbit is all set to create a memorable and eventful weekend in the hills of Himachal Pradesh with its flagship event, Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival. The Festival will feature some of the most exciting bands and top singers from the music industry. The proceeds of the Festival will be used to support the treatment of children from under-privileged homes with heart disorders.

While the grand event is all set to take place in the picturesque hills of Kasauli, Chandigarh will soon get to see a glimpse of what all the festival is all about. Peddlers lounge is hosting a pre Gig in the city this Friday with The Light Ear performing. This Chandigarh based band performs multi genre music to appeal the masses with their exhilarating sounds.

Among India’s leading music festivals, #KasauliRnB in its 6th year, comes power packed with an exciting line-up of new-age indigenous musical performers. The Festival offers a heady mix of a relaxing Easter weekend break, the fresh and invigorating mountain air, and a unique musical experience where you live and breathe music for three days. Adding to this experience will be activities such as a Drum Circle, Meditation with Music, rip-roaring stand-up comedy by Red FM RJs Kisna and Ashish and an after-party with legendary artist Lesle Lewis.

Music-lovers from across the country make a beeline to the picturesque town of Kasauli to enjoy this much-awaited Festival, which is held every year to raise funds for under-privileged kids suffering from heart disorders. Not only is it one of the most common ailments in kids, it is also an area that desperately needs attention and is sorely missing awareness, resources, and support.

Prema Sagar, Founder Trustee, Genesis Foundation, said“Each year we see a more fervent participation by our partners and music lovers. We are thankful to them for their consciousness as well as their contribution to help the little ones in need. With Kasauli RNB, our flagship event and through many other supported events, we have been successful in aiding the treatments of over 1200 critically ill children, but there are many more kids that needs our support. So it is really gratifying to see so many people join us in this big fight for little hearts.”

The musical legend, multilingual performer, Usha Uthup is the star attraction. She will be joined by the following bands and artists to create magic at this year’s Festival:
