Congress government to curb drug menace in state: Capt Amrinder Singh

Patiala, March 12: Congress government will act against those who are involved in the drugs menance in Punjab said by state Congress leader Capt Amrinder Singh today. He hailed the efforts put in bt the congress workers to make it big win.

Talking to the media persons before proceeding to Chandigarh to attend the Congress Legislature Party meeting to elect him as the leader, he said  action would be taken against police officials found to be involved in smuggling.

He said the cases of desecration of Guru Granth Sahib would be probed.

He made it clear his government would not resort to politics of vendetta.

He would meet Rahul Gandhi in Delhi today evening to finalise the cabinet.
