Under PM Modi country is touching new heights in development: Khattar

Chandigarh, March 31---The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that under the able leadership of the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, the country is progressing at a fast clip. Environment has been created for the development of agriculture, business and education which bodes well for the people of the country.
          Addressing party workers’ meeting at Panchkula, near here, today, the Chief Minister said the BJP and its supporting parties had formed governments in 20 states and it had also emerged as the largest political party in the Rajya Sabha also. The newly elected MPs and Haryana BJP Incharge, Dr Anil Jain, and Lt. General (Retd.), D.P. Vats, were honoured at the meeting.
          While greeting people of the state on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the Chief Minister said both newly elected members would raise the issues concerning their respective states in the Rajya Sabha.  
          Haryana BJP President, Mr Subhash Barala, said the newly elected MP Dr Vats had been an Army official and served the country for a long time. He would raise the issues related to the Army and the people in the Rajya Sabha.
          While congratulating the newly elected MPs, the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr O.P. Dhankar, said, "It is an important day for the party and it is also a day to take pledge to win the 2019 elections.” Dr Vats said the BJP had worked to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood among all communities.
          Addressing the meeting, Dr Anil Jain said he knew party workers very well and all party meetings were held in the spirit of brotherhood.
          The Information, Public Relations and Languages Minister, Mrs Kavita Jain, and Transport Minister, Mr Krishan Lal Panwar, also spoke on the occasion.
   Those present included MP, Mr Rattan Lal Kataria, Industries Minister, Mr Vipul Goel, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Nayab Singh Saini, MLA Panchkula, Mr Gian Chand Gupta, and others.
