Rs 10 crore , Modern animal hospital to be set up in Palampur

Himachal Government is starting many schemes to promote agriculture and Live stock in the state. Stating this the IPH Minister Ravinder Ravi said that an ultra modern animal Hospital is being established in Palampur near here which shall cost around 10 crore rupees so that animal related problems of the farmers could be sorted out. Minister said that an animal semen transfer unit shall also be created with the cost of 3 crore at Palampur.

Minister also informed that all the panchayats of Himachal shall be given the facility of the Veterinary clinics by 31st march 2012 and for their smooth running 900 veterinary pharmacists are being trained. He said that the state government is spending 12
