Sarv Kalyankari society honors 3,500 families of ex-servicemen at Patlander

Sarv Kalyankari society led by prominent social worker, Rajendra Rana today honored as many as 3,500 families of ex-servicemen of Sujanpur area of Hamirpur at a massive function held at Patlander village today.

 It was second time that Rana has organized such a function for the serving soldiers and ex-servicemen of the area.

Rana hails from Patlander area of the district which is also the village if in-laws of Mrs. Urmila Thakur, the BJP MLA from Hamirpur.

Those honored were presented with mementoes, shawls and calendars by Rana.

 On this occasion, Rana announced that he would contest the next Vidhan sabha election from Sujanpur seat as per the wish of the people of the area.

He clarified during his speech that while providing relief to any persons he never asked about their political leanings or caste or creed and gave them their dues as per their demands and needs.

A number of elected representatives of the areas were present in the function and extended their full support to Rana. They told the gathering that Rana was their ultimate choice and no one else would be a better candidate than Rana.
