Approves Draft Governor Address

The Cabinet in its meeting held here today approved the draft Governor address to be delivered by the Governor on the inaugural day of the 14th Session of Himachal Pradesh 12th Vidhan Sabha.

The meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

It also approved to start five year course in Bachelor of Architecture in Rajeev Gandhi Engineering College, Nagrota Bagwan in district Kangra.

The Cabinet approved opening of Ayurveda Health Centre at Village Padgaya in Chopal as per the announcement of Chief Minister. It also approved regularization of staff nurses appointed on contract basis under Rogi Kalyan Samitis in Ayurveda Department.

Approval was accorded to fill up two posts of Lecturer in department of Kayachikitisa, Prasuti Tantra & Istri Rog in Rajeev Gandhi Government  Postgraduate Ayurveda college Paprola on contract basis. Similarly nod was given to fill one post of Principal on regular basis at College of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Science, Jogindernagar.

It also decided to fill eight posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) in directorate of Ayurveda on contract basis and conversion of two vacant posts of Clerk as Junior Office Assistant.

Approval was accorded to upgrade Veterinary dispensary, Jakhna (Jamna) to Veterinary  Hospital in district Sirmaur.

It was also decided to open new Sub Tehsil office  at Pragpur in Kangra district.

The Cabinet granted its approval to take over National Senior Secondary School  Katohar Khurd in Chintpurni constituency of Una district by the Government from the session 2017-18.

The Cabinet also decided to construct new block of Circuit House at Dharamshala.

Approval was accorded to Road safety Audit in roads Projects on  PMGSY model. This is being done to ensure that road safely Audit of all road at design, construction and operational stages is carried out by 3rd  party to ensure user-friendly road net work.

The Cabinet also approved the replacement of Himachal Pradesh Court fees (Amendment) Ordinance, 2017 by the Himachal Pradesh Court Fees (Amendment) Bill, 2017 which is to be presented before the ensuing session of  Legislative Assembly.

Besides, the Cabinet also approved the supplementary estimates for the 2016-17.
