Minister launched deworming program at Sulah

Himachal Pradesh health department shall give Deworming dose to 19 lakh children of the state. This was declared by Health minister Vipin singh Parmar  today while addressing a gathering during the launch of state level program of the National Deworming day at Rana Man Chand Memorial Government Sr Sec school Sulah in Kangra district. Minister administered the dose of albendazole tablet to school children . Deworming day is a day dedicated to deworm all the school going children of the country to give them a healthy digestive system. It is a government mission, aimed to reduce the cases of worm infection among kids all over India

Parmar said,” During the program 19 lakh children between the age group of 1 to 19 years shall be given the dose of the deworming medicine, which include the children of 14873 government and 3173 private schools. Children of 18925 aganwaris  shall also be touched.” He said that 4 lakh 47 thousand 277 children shall only be covered from Kangra district.

455 children of Sulah school were administered the dose of albendazole today in perence of the health minister. Minister said that those children who miss the dose today in the state shall be recovered on 24 th February.

Minister also guided the children, how to prevent themselves from the wormin decease.CMO Kangra   Dr R S Rana, BMO Bhawarna Dr Meenakshi Gupta, Principal of the school Anil Nag and other dignitaries were also present.
