BJP MP Anurag Thakur thanked Gadkari for sanctioning Rs. 61.29 crore for construction of bridge over Swan Khad

Member of Parliament, Anurag Thakur today expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning Rs. 61.29 crore for construction of bridge over Swan Khad on Kotla – Amroha road. 

 

Commenting on the development, Thakur said, “Connectivity is one of the most important means to ensure overall development of any State. And to ensure complete connectivity in Hamirpur Parliamentary, be it through rail or road, has been one of my key agendas. With the sanction of Rs. 61.29 crore for construction of bridge over Swan Khad on Kotla – Amroha road, it is yet again a bid to ensure ease of travel and connectivity for the people. To make this possible, I would like to thank Sh. Nitin Gadkari ji for sanctioning the construction of bridge.”

 

He further added ,“With the construction of this bridge, it would benefit people in multiple ways. Be it religious tourists visiting Mata Chintpurni temple or business tourists ferrying between Himachal and Punjab, it would prove to be a boon for all.”

 

Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Government has always ensured overall development for Himachal and the same can be testified with the number of projects sanctioned for the State across sectors. “I would like to thank Sh. Narendra Modi ji for contributing towards the growth of the State,”  said MP
