Haryana government files FIR against the embezzlement cases

Chandigarh, May 30—Dr Rakesh Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary to Haryana Chief Minister, has ordered filing of FIRs in cases of  embezzlement of funds, and enquiry by CM Flying Squad in some  complaints received on CM Window.

            Mr Gupta, along with  OSD to the Chief Minister, Bhupeshwar Dayal,  were  presiding over a review meeting on online complaints received on CM Window with nodal officers of departments here today. Complaints were taken up and instructions were given for their expeditious redressal.

A criminal case has been ordered  against the person involved in a scam and one who demanded a bribe in lieu of the redressal at Daultabad in Gurugram district.

In a case of embezzlement  in a panchayat  in Palwal district, directions have been given to the Deputy Commissioner to file a criminal case and take appropriate action within one month, and also issue a show- cause notice to the  BDPO concerned. Similarly, Deputy Commissioner Gurugram, has been directed to take possession of the land and file an FIR against a builder who sold 46 acres of panchayat land.

In a complaint of embezzlement of taxes under the Excise and Taxation Department in Palwal district, charge-sheet has been ordered and  responsibility fixed against the employee found guilty.

Suspension of two junior engineers and one chawkidar of the Town and Country Planning Department  has been ordered in a case of  tampering official  papers.

In a case capture of a natural rivulet by  a builder in Gurugram, the DC and Municiplal Commissioner have been ordered jointly to set free the rivulet from the possession of the builder immediately and file a criminal case against him.

Mr Bhupeshwar Dyal ordered an enquiry by the CM Flying squad against the District Horticulture Officer, Rohtak, for bungling of Rs 37 lakh after a departmental enquiry was found inadequate. In addition, another enquiry was ordered by  CM Flying Squad  in a complaint related to the Revenue Department. A commerce lecturer, Ram Kumar of the Education Department, Haryana, has been suspended on the charges of misappropriation.

          A departmental enquiry has been ordered against the Additional District Attorney for giving wrong report in a  complaint received by the Police Department.  

In a case of irregularities in the Public Distribution System (PDS) under the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, an FIR has been ordered against the inspector, sub-inspector and DFSC Ms Seema Sharma, Joint Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Palwal, and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Palwal.

Similarly, associate professor, Ashok Kataria, posted at Indira Gandhi Government College, Tohana, under the Higher Education Department has been suspended for impeachment in the works of installation of gate and grill in the college.

The complaints received on social media were also discussed at the meeting and directions were given for their immediate redressal.
