Keeping the same in mind, I would like to request the Central Government to sanction an international level shooting range for Himachal Pradesh. This would ensure furthermore contribution of the State to Armed Forces and also create future athletes as the likes of Sh. Vijay Kumar, Sh. Samresh Jung, etc,’ he added.

If we take the example of the FIFA world Cup, though Croatia didn’t make it as the winners but their performance throughout the tournament ensured that even before the finals, the Croatian tourist board announced it had observed a 250% increase in website visits from across the world. Similarly, post construction of HPCA Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala, a surge in tourism by 3 times has been witnessed. Not only that, the stadium has contributed manifold across economic aspects of the State.”
