Rajiv Gandhi statue vandalised in Ludhiana, Capt orders strict action

Ludhiana,December 25,2018:  Miscreants in Ludhiana today has vandalise the statue of late prime minister Raviv Gandhi.Taking serious note of vandalisation of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's statue in Ludhiana, Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh has ordered that action must be taken against those involved in the act. 

Earlier in the day, two Akali workers had vandalised the statue of Rajiv Gandhi situated at Salem Tabri area of Ludhiana. These two workers while raising their discontent over the 1984 anti-Sikh riots smeared black colour on the statue.

While these workers were also demanding a special state assembly session to pass a resolution for withdrawing Bharat Ratna from the former PM, Captain strictly condemned the move.

Captain while mentioning this act on tweeter has said that the culprits should be apologitc guilty should apologise to the people of Punjab .
