Three day training camp on climate change concluded

General Secretary of State Red Cross Society, Shimla, Rakesh Kanwar today here presided over the closing ceremony of three day Climate Change Training Camp organised by Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Society Shimla.

While presiding over the ceremony he said that more and more plants should be planted to reduce the risk of climate change and the impacts of global warming. He said that 50 thousand farmers will be trained this year to encourage natural farming in rural areas.

He said that training will also be undertaken in the fields of natural farming and integrated risk management in Panchayats soon. Detailed information was also given about the execution of dry and wet garbage in the camp so that the garbage could be properly disposed.

Advisor, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Cross, New Delhi Aditi Kapoor was also present among others on the occasion.
