Special campaign Aapke Dwar -Ayushman to Start in Haryana

Chandigarh, March 8- Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that a special campaign called 'Aapke Dwar-Ayushman' is being run till March 22 to help the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana reach maximum number of people of the state. Under this, free Ayushman cards will be made for families which have been deprived for any reason.

          Sh. Vij said that now free Ayushman cards will also be made at all Common Service Centres (CSCs) of the state. For this, the earlier the consumer had to pay Rs. 30, however, now this amount will not be charged to the consumers but will be paid by the Government to these centres. Apart from this, 568 private and government hospitals of the state are on the panel, where free cards are already being made. The Health Minister has urged the people that those who have been deprived of this facility must take advantage of this opportunity to get the benefit of this scheme. He said that about 15.51 lakh families or 75 lakh people of the state are to be registered under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, under which Annual Medical Treatment upto Rs. 5 lakh is provided to the families.

          Chief Executive Officer, Haryana Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Smt. Amneet P Kumar said that cooperation of Panchayati Raj, Women and Child Development, National Health Mission, District Deputy Commissioners and other departments including Health Department is being taken in this work. In addition, all civil surgeons, district nodal officers and district information managers and other concerned persons have been trained through video conferencing.
