18 year old schoolgirl found dead in suspicious circumstances in Dharamsala

A case of death of a schoolgirl living near Narbalinga in Dharamsala under suspicious circumstances has come to light. The deceased, a resident of Lahaul Spiti district, was studying in class 12^th in Dharamsala  and was found dead in her rented  room near  Norbalinga near Fatehpur in Dharamshala. Neighbors informed the police about this  last night. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the student’s room where she was lying dead. Police called the forensic team on the spot and collected evidence. The police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and started further investigation. The family members of the deceased have also reached Dharamshala. The age of the deceased student is said to be around 18 years. After the police and forensic team took their action, the body was sent to Dharamshala Hospital for post-mortem.

Confirming the matter, SP Kangra Shalini Agnihotri said  that the police have detained  some suspects in this case, Police have also seized the mobile phone of the deceased. The post mortem report is awaited .

SP said that the police are investigating the case from every aspect.
