A youth of Jalladhar drowned to death in dharamsala

Pawan Kumar (32), son of Rajendra Kumar, a tourist from Punjab, who was bathing in the drain of Bhagsu Waterfall in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, died late on Saturday evening after being swept away in the strong current of Rakesh Tent House, Jalandhar. ASP Kangra Bir Bahadur said that the police have recovered the body of the youth about 100 meters below the waterfall, which will be handed over to the family members after post-mortem.
ASP informed on Sunday that on 16-09-2023, Amit Kumar, resident of Jalandhar, informed on mobile to McLeodganj police station that he along with his four friends were taking bath in the drain near BhagsuNag Waterfall late in the evening, when suddenly water level increased and his friend Pawan Kumar got washed away in the flow of water. Immediately the police left for the spot with SDRF Kangra and started searching for Pawan Kumar and the body of the above-mentioned Pawan Kumar has been recovered about 100 meters down from the place of incident. The police is investigating the matter
