Aam Aadmi Party Announces Candidates for Punjab Lok Sabha Elections; 5 Cabinet Ministers Among Nominees

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has unveiled its lineup of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Punjab, featuring a notable presence of five cabinet ministers. Among the key nominations, Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal will contest from Amritsar, Laljit Singh Bhullar from Khadoor Sahib, Gurmeet Singh Khudian from Bathinda, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer from Sangrur, and Balbir Singh from Patiala. Additionally, Jalandhar MP Sushil Rinku has been nominated to contest from the same constituency.

 

 

 

 

The party also introduced Gurpreet Singh GP as its candidate from Fatehgarh Sahib. Singh, a former Congress MLA from Bassi Pathana, recently made the switch to AAP. Notably, Punjabi actor Karamjeet Anmol has been nominated to represent the party in Faridkot.

With Punjab hosting a total of 13 parliamentary seats, AAP’s strategic selection of candidates reflects its aim to secure a significant foothold in the region’s political landscape.
