Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal moved a confidence motion in the assembly on Friday, seeking a vote of confidence. Addressing the assembly, Kejriwal dismissed the alleged liquor scam as baseless, stating that the BJP’s motive is to destabilize the Delhi government. He criticized the BJP for what he called unfair investigations targeting AAP leaders. Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Kejriwal for the sixth time in connection with the now-defunct liquor policy investigation. He is required to appear before the agency on February 19, following previous summons on February 2, January 18, January 3 this year, and on December 21 and November 2 in 2023.
