In today’s ICC ODI World Cup match at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala
Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan and started their World Cup journey with a win.
Bangladesh while Chasing the small score of 156 runs put up by Afghanistan registered a spectacular victory by six wickets. Afghanistan faced this defeat due to Bangladesh’s all-round performance in this match.

Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz contributed the maximum of 47 runs. Whereas the other opener Ibrahim Zadran scored 22, Azmatullah scored 22, captain Hashmatullah Shahidi and Rahmat Shah scored 18 each, Najibullah Zadran scored just five runs.
