In a groundbreaking move aimed at transforming the Bathinda Parliamentary segment, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal initiated a slew of development projects totaling Rs 1125 crore. This heralds a new era of ‘Vikas Kranti’ in the region.

In this visionary move, the Chief Ministers laid the foundation stone for an ultra-modern bus stand in Bathinda, a Railway Over Bridge at Multania and Janta Nagar, and a Ring Road project, among others. These initiatives, amounting to Rs 1125 crore, aim to streamline traffic and boost the overall development of the Bathinda region.

The duo also addressed critical aspects such as road construction, healthcare infrastructure, and water supply projects, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to regional growth. Additionally, a significant investment of Rs 573 crore was announced for the upgrade of the sewerage system across the state.

This strategic unveiling of development projects reflects a collective commitment to ushering in a transformative wave of progress in the Malwa Heartland, setting the stage for sustained growth and prosperity.
