Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on the BJP and RSS, claiming that they are trying to change the country’s Constitution. Addressing a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh’s Alirajpur district, Gandhi emphasized that the ongoing Lok Sabha election is crucial in saving the Constitution and ensuring the rights of the people.

Constitutional Crisis and Reservation Cap

Gandhi highlighted the BJP’s alleged intentions to alter the Constitution, stating that the party’s slogan of “400 paar” (aiming to win more than 400 Lok Sabha seats) is a clear indication of their plans to change the fundamental document. He also vowed to remove the 50% cap on reservation, ensuring that the marginalized sections of society receive the necessary support.

Caste Census and Empowering the Youth

The former Congress president reiterated his support for a caste census, emphasizing that it will reveal the true status of people and change the direction of politics in the country. Gandhi also announced the ‘Pehli Naukri Pakki’ scheme, which aims to provide one-year apprenticeships to the youth, followed by a job. During the training period, the youth will receive an allowance of Rs 8,500 per month, amounting to Rs 1 lakh in a year.

Women’s Empowerment and Financial Support

Gandhi also pledged to transfer Rs 8,500 per month into the accounts of women once his party comes to power, aiming to make them “lakhpati.” This move is expected to significantly impact the financial independence of women and empower them to take charge of their lives.
