BJP Clinches Historic Third Term in Haryana: CM Nayab Singh Saini Attributes Victory to PM Modi’s Leadership and Silent Voters

Chandigarh, October 8: In a historic political achievement, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a third consecutive term in Haryana by winning 48 seats in the recently concluded assembly elections. Union Minister and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar credited the BJP’s success to the support of silent voters and the popularity of policies implemented under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

In the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured 48 seats, an increase of 8 from its previous tally in 2019. The Congress, despite early leads, ended up with 37 seats. These two major parties dominated the election, with the BJP managing to surpass expectations and form the government. Other parties and independents also played roles, but the BJP’s victory was decisive.

Speaking to ANI, Khattar remarked, “The public appreciates the work being done under PM Modi’s leadership. The silent votes played a significant role in our victory, and the people are responding positively to our policies.”

Following the victory, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who contested from the Ladwa constituency, secured a decisive win with a margin of 16,054 votes against Congress’ Mewa Singh and independent candidate Vikramjeet Singh Cheema. Saini, after the win, visited his mother to seek her blessings. He shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), “After the results, I took my mother’s blessings. Her love and the tilak she applied are life’s true elixirs.”

Saini expressed his gratitude to the people of Haryana and lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Modi for guiding the party to a resounding victory. “I am grateful to the 2.80 crore citizens of Haryana for supporting BJP for the third time. This success is all because of PM Modi’s leadership. His guidance has been crucial, and I had faith that the people—especially the poor, farmers, and youth—would place their trust in us once again,” Saini stated.

Reiterating his commitment to public service, Saini said, “For us, politics is a means of service. I promise the people of Haryana that I will always be available to serve you as your humble servant. The trust of the people is our greatest asset, and we will never let it break. Our vision is to create a prosperous, healthy, and happy Haryana.”

The BJP’s electoral success marks its continued dominance in the state’s political landscape, further solidifying its governance for the third successive term.
