
BJP Leaders Pay Heartfelt Tribute to Senior Leader Kishan Kapoor in Dharamshala

Dharamshala (Arvind Sharma), 02 February 2025 – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal attended the last rites of senior BJP leader, former minister, and ex-MP Kishan Kapoor in Dharamshala today. He paid tribute to Kapoor and expressed condolences to his son, Shashwat Kapoor, and other grieving family members. Dr. Bindal emphasized that Kishan Kapoor was a stalwart of the BJP and made an unparalleled contribution to the party throughout his political career.
Reflecting on Kapoor’s legacy, Dr. Bindal noted that he served as an MLA five times and as a minister three times, playing a crucial role in the state’s development. Since the formation of the party in 1980, Kapoor had dedicatedly fulfilled various responsibilities within the organization. His demise is an irreplaceable loss to the BJP, Dr. Bindal remarked, affirming that the party stands firmly with the bereaved family in this difficult time. He also prayed for the departed leader’s soul to rest in peace.
Several prominent BJP leaders, including Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, State Organization General Secretary Siddharthan, Kangra Parliamentary Constituency in-charge and MLA Vipin Parmar, MP and State Vice President Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, Kangra District President Sachin Sharma, Pawan Kajal, and Rakesh Pathania, among others, gathered to pay their emotional tributes to Kishan Kapoor.
