BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal Advocates Strong Nationalistic Policies at Kangra Nomination Event
Dharamshala (Arvind Sharma)10/2/24
On Friday, BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal attended the nomination event for Kangra Parliamentary Constituency candidate Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj in Dharamsala. During his address, Dr. Bindal presented a robust defense of BJP’s policies and critiqued the opposition’s approach towards minorities and governance.
Dr. Bindal emphasized the BJP’s commitment to ensuring the rights of the majority, contrasting it with what he described as the Congress party’s focus on minority appeasement. He criticized the Congress manifesto for its stance on minority rights and accused the party of hindering Hindu progress. “The public will never vote for those who oppose Sanatan Dharma,” he asserted, referring to the Congress leaders’ alleged opposition to Hindu traditions and their stance on reservations for Muslims.
Highlighting the BJP’s achievements, Dr. Bindal praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration for its efforts in reducing poverty and enhancing national self-reliance. He cited significant progress in lifting 25 crore people above the poverty line, providing free rations to 80 crore people, and constructing millions of homes for the underprivileged through various government initiatives.
Dr. Bindal also credited the Modi government with the success of the ‘Make in India’ initiative, which he claimed has bolstered India’s self-sufficiency in critical sectors ranging from mobile technology to defense, positioning India as a leading global export hub.
As the Lok Sabha elections and Assembly by-elections approach, Dr. Bindal confidently predicted that the electorate would reject the opposition, attributing previous losses in the Rajya Sabha elections to the public’s dissatisfaction with their policies. He concluded by reaffirming his belief in “Modi’s guarantee” as a testament to the Prime Minister’s commitment to the nation’s welfare.
