In a significant breakthrough, the district police, in collaboration with the Special Cell of Delhi Police and the Special Task Force (STF) in Haryana, successfully apprehended two suspects linked to the brutal killings of INLD state chief Nafe Singh Rathi and his close aide Jai Kishan. The tragic incident occurred at Barahi level crossing in Bahadurgarh town on February 25.

The arrested individuals, identified as Ashish and Sachin, alias Sourav, hailing from Nangloi in Delhi, were captured in Goa. Believed to be associated with the notorious Kapil Sangwan, alias Nandu gang, they had traveled to Goa via Gujarat and Maharashtra, strategically parking their i20 car outside the Rewari railway station. Their journey involved boarding a train from Rewari to Ahmedabad, shedding light on the intricate details of their escape plan, as revealed by Waseem Akram, SP of STF.

Jhajjar SP Arpit Jain disclosed that two other suspects, Atul from Delhi and Deepak Sangwan, alias Nakul, from Narnaul, are still at large. Sachin, whose father is a vegetable seller, possesses a ninth-grade education and has a criminal record, being accused in two cases of loot and one under the Arms Act. Ashish, on the other hand, has a case registered against him for manhandling. Both suspects were presented before a local court, resulting in an eight-day police remand.
