A momentous occasion unfolded as the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) orchestrated a noteworthy event to mark the distribution ceremony of appointment letters to the chosen candidates. The event, which took place today, was graced by the esteemed presence of Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, the Administrator of Chandigarh. Among the distinguished attendees were notable figures including Mayor Anup Gupta, Dr. Dharam Pal – Adviser to the Administrator & Chairman, CHB, Nitin Yadav – Home Secretary, Praveer Ranjan – DGP Chandigarh, Yashpal Garg – CEO CHB, and Vinay Partap Singh – DC.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome to the attendees and set the tone for a significant milestone in the recipients’ professional journey. Sh. The appointment letters were bestowed upon individuals who successfully navigated a meticulous recruitment procedure encompassing 38 posts in the Technical Cadre, including roles like Sub Divisional Engineer, Junior Engineer, Assistant Architect, and Draftsman. This process commenced with a public notice inviting applications, followed by exhaustive evaluations and examinations held in February 2023. The results were unveiled in May 2023, followed by thorough document and biometric verification in June and July for qualified candidates.

In his address, Sh. Banwarilal Purohit congratulated the newly appointed individuals and urged them to approach their roles with transparency and dedication. He emphasized the significance of their responsibility and urged them to foster positive thinking while continuously engaging in learning and self-improvement.
