Bhoranj, Himachal Pradesh: Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu marked his visit to Bhoranj Assembly constituency by kickstarting 12 crucial development projects totaling Rs. 150 crore. This investment promises to improve infrastructure, access to water, and overall well-being in the area.
Among the officially inaugurated projects are:
- Upgrade of Lagwalti Bamsan drinking water project: Rs. 45.51 crore for enhanced water supply.
- Completion of Sameerpur-Matlana Bhuana road: Rs. 8.34 crore for improved connectivity.
- New Bhoranj Hospital building: Rs. 11.49 crore for advanced healthcare facilities.
- New Office of the Executive Engineer of PWD: Rs. 2.06 crore for administrative efficiency.
Looking ahead, Chief Minister Sukhu laid the foundation stones for several initiatives, including:
- Maliyan Sadharyan Lift Drinking Water Scheme: Rs. 45 crore for reliable water access from the Beas River.
- Rajiv Gandhi Green Industry Area: Rs. 16.58 crore to boost sustainable industrial development in Jahu.
- Extensive drinking water project repairs: Rs. 6.09 crore to ensure clean water supply throughout the Bhoranj constituency.
- Construction of Sammu Tal bus stand: Rs. 3.34 crore for enhanced public transportation options.
- Jal Shakti Department cottage and residence: Rs. 4.69 crore for improved departmental resources and working conditions.
- Beautification of Sammu Tal pond: Rs. 1.98 crore for recreational development and environmental enhancement.
- Rajiv Gandhi Day School in Karah: Fostering education and community development.
In his address, Chief Minister Sukhu expressed confidence that these projects will significantly impact the lives of Bhoranj residents. He emphasized their contribution to infrastructure development, access to vital services, and a brighter future for the region.
