Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu honored Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, by offering floral tributes on his death anniversary at Chaura Maidan today.
The Chief Minister highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s monumental contributions to India, emphasizing his role in ensuring equal rights for all citizens and strengthening the democratic framework of the nation. He recognized Dr. Ambedkar as a visionary leader whose work continues to inspire generations.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent leaders, including Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil, Vice Chairman of H.P. Tourism Development Board R.S. Bali, Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania, and MLAs Harish Janartha, Ajay Solanki, Sudarshan Bablu, Malender Rajan, Hardeep Singh Bawa, Hansraj, and Vinod Kumar. Other dignitaries included Chairman of H.P. State Cooperative Bank Devender Shyam, Shimla Mayor Surender Chauhan, former Mayors Jaini Prem and Sohan Lal, Councillors, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap, and several other notable attendees.
