Chief Minister Sukhu Prioritizes Public Grievances with “Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar” Initiative
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu emphasized that addressing public grievances remains the top priority of the current Himachal Pradesh Government. To fulfill this commitment, the Government recently launched the “Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar” program, an initiative aimed at ensuring a stronger connection between the government and the public. This new program, which began in the remote Dodra Kwar area of Shimla district, is designed to bring government officials closer to residents, enabling a direct approach to understanding and resolving local issues. It also encourages the public to share suggestions for the region’s development, making it a collaborative effort toward progress.
During a recent event held at the Sera Rest House in Nadaun Assembly segment of Hamirpur district, Chief Minister Sukhu spent nearly one and a half hours listening to the grievances of local residents and directed the officers present to address these issues as a priority. This direct engagement approach underlines the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens and its focus on prompt problem-solving.
The event saw the presence of key figures including Dehra MLA Kamlesh Thakur, Chairman of the Kangra Cooperative Primary, Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Ram Chander Pathania, Congress Leader Surender Mankotia, Congress Nadaun Block President Captain Prithi Chand, Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Singh, Superintendent of Police Hamirpur Bhagat Singh, and other distinguished officials. Their involvement highlights the state government’s unified effort to tackle issues affecting the public and to foster growth and development across various districts.
