CM Nayab Singh Saini Highlights Youth Empowerment and Women’s Education at Indira Gandhi National College’s Golden Jubilee

Chief Minister attended the 51st Foundation Day celebrations of Indira Gandhi National College, Ladwa-Dhanaura, marking the institution’s Golden Jubilee. During the ceremony, the CM extended congratulations to all attendees and emphasized the state government’s unwavering commitment to youth development, education, and employment opportunities.

The event began with a sacred havan yagna, symbolizing prosperity and progress. Following this, the Chief Minister visited an exhibition showcasing the college’s legacy, achievements, and ongoing initiatives. This provided a platform to highlight the role of quality education in shaping the future of Haryana’s youth.

In his address, the CM emphasized the enthusiastic response among students toward government initiatives like “Mission Merit,” which ensures recruitment processes based on transparency and merit without any undue influence. He reiterated the state’s commitment to implementing the New Education Policy (NEP) and ensuring quality education while creating job opportunities for young people. The government’s vision is not just to produce job seekers but to foster job creators, empowering youth to lead entrepreneurial ventures and innovative endeavors.

During the event, talented students were felicitated for their achievements, showcasing the administration’s dedication to encouraging academic and extracurricular excellence. Furthermore, the CM participated in a tree plantation drive as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign, “One Tree for the Mother,” reinforcing the government’s environmental commitment.

Acknowledging National Girl Child Day, the CM extended his heartfelt wishes to all daughters of the state, emphasizing that the government is taking historic steps to ensure access to education for girls. He announced that efforts are underway to establish a women’s college within every 20-kilometer radius, ensuring that no girl is left behind in pursuing higher education. This initiative aligns with the government’s larger goal of empowering women and fostering gender equality.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed that Haryana’s “non-stop government” is dedicated to building a robust ecosystem for youth and women, driving the state towards a progressive and inclusive future.
