CM Sukhu calls on Union Minister for MPP and Power
Urges for Shanan Power Project rights and pending BBMB share

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu called on Union Minister for MPP and Power Manohar Lal Khattar at New Delhi today and discussed about the issues of the state pending with the Ministry.
He sought the intervention of the Union Minister for restoring the rights of Shanan Power Project to the State as the lease period has expired and to take a decision for amicable solution on the matter. He also requested him to release the pending share due from the BBMB which is being awaited since many years and causing losses to the state. Chief Minister also requested for support for the mega solar park in Spiti.
The Union Minister assured of looking into the issues and directed the officers to take necessary steps.
Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister Ram Subhag Singh, Principal Secretary Finance Devesh Kumar and Resident Commissioner Meera Mohanty and Senior officers of the Ministry were present in the meeting.
