CM Sukhu Inaugurates ₹40.84 Crore Development Projects in Jubbal-Kotkhai, Boosts Infrastructure

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, during his one-day visit to the Jubbal-Kotkhai Assembly Constituency in Shimla district, unveiled a series of transformative development projects worth ₹40.84 crore. The Chief Minister inaugurated the state-of-the-art HPMC Controlled Atmosphere (CA) Store at Gumma, built at an impressive cost of ₹21.07 crore, which is expected to revolutionize storage facilities for local produce.
He also inaugurated the Mini Secretariat building at Kotkhai, a modern administrative hub completed with an outlay of ₹14.62 crore, and Type-II police quarters at Kotkhai, constructed at a cost of ₹60.45 lakh to enhance housing infrastructure for law enforcement personnel.
Further strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the region, CM Sukhu laid the foundation stone for a Level-III Trauma Centre at the CHC Kotkhai, to be built at a projected cost of ₹4.54 crore. This center is poised to provide critical care facilities to the people of the region.
During his visit, the Chief Minister personally inspected the newly constructed CA store at Gumma and the Mini Secretariat in Kotkhai, reflecting his commitment to ensuring quality and accountability in state projects. These initiatives underline the government’s focus on infrastructural development and enhanced public welfare in Himachal Pradesh.
