Congress Gears Up for Lok Sabha Elections with Rallies and Campaigns Across States

As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, the Congress party has intensified its efforts to sway voters in its favor through a vigorous campaign strategy. Candidates representing the Congress party in various states have embarked on extensive rallies and public engagements to garner support for the party’s agenda.

In a recent development, Kumari Selja, the Congress candidate for the Sirsa Lok Sabha seat, launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance, asserting that his promises had fallen short. Selja highlighted the growing media presence at Congress rallies as a promising indicator of an impending Congress-led government, contrasting it with the previous dominance of Modi in media coverage. Speaking at a public gathering in Panniwala Mota village, Selja underscored the waning trust in Modi’s assurances among the populace.

During her address, Selja reminisced about her earlier visit to Panniwala Mota alongside former minister Jagdish Nehra, recalling a heartwarming gesture from the villagers who presented her with a scarf adorned with currency notes. The revisit to Nehra’s village filled Selja with joy, symbolizing a connection with the local community.

Accusing the BJP of fostering divisions along caste and religious lines, Selja emphasized the Congress party’s commitment to fostering unity among all sections of society. She reiterated the Congress’s longstanding dedication to promoting harmony and inclusivity, contrasting it with what she described as the BJP’s divisive tactics during its decade-long rule. Selja condemned the adverse impact she claimed every societal segment had endured under the BJP’s governance.

Selja’s remarks reflect the Congress party’s proactive stance in addressing key issues and projecting a vision of unity and progress. As the political landscape heats up in anticipation of the elections, the Congress’s assertive campaigning and emphasis on inclusive governance signal a spirited bid to secure voter confidence and pave the way for a potential shift in leadership at the national level.
