Congress Unveils Star Campaigners for Himachal Pradesh Lok Sabha Elections

The Congress party has rolled out a formidable list of 40 star campaigners set to lead the charge for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh. Spearheading this campaign are prominent leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, and former AICC president Sonia Gandhi. Additionally, the lineup features former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, former MP Raj Babbar, Rajya Sabha MP KC Venugopal, Sachin Pilot, Rajeev Shukla, Mukul Wasnik, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Kumari Selja, Rajesh Lilothia, Maj Gen DVS Rana (retd), and Alka Lamba as star campaigners.

From the state itself, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu, Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri, HPCC president Pratibha Singh, along with Congress candidates for the Shimla and Kangra parliamentary constituencies Vikramaditya Singh and Anand Sharma, respectively, will also join as star campaigners. Additionally, Cabinet ministers Jagat Singh Negi, Dhani Ram Shandil, Harshwardhan Chauhan, Rohit Thakur, Anirudh Thakur, Chander Kumar, and Yadvinder Goma will bolster the campaign efforts.

According to party sources, former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi is expected to lead rallies in the Shimla and Mandi parliamentary constituencies. Furthermore, rallies led by the national general secretary of the Congress will be organized in each parliamentary constituency. In addition, a strategy is being devised to hold rallies in the assembly segments where by-polls are scheduled.

This announcement underscores the Congress’s strategic move to bolster its campaign in Himachal Pradesh, bringing together a diverse array of leaders to galvanize support for the party candidates.
