Congress won the Vidhan Sabha election in Himachal Pradesh

In the Vidhan Sabha elections Congress party in Himachal Pradesh has attained the power by defeating the ruling party BJP.

Congress party has won 40 seats with BJP winning 25 seats and 3 seats have gone in the favour of independent candidates.
