“Fatal Attack in Karachi: Lashkar-e-Taiba Leader Targeted, Heightened Security for Hafiz Saeed”

Lashkar-e-Taiba key figure Kaiser Farooq assassinated in Karachi

 

In an incident, unidentified assailants in Karachi targeted and fatally shot Kaiser Farooq, a key figure associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, known for indoctrinating children in extremist ideologies. Following this attack, security measures for Hafiz Saeed, the leader of Lashkar-e-Taiba, have been heightened. Local reports indicate that the assailants struck in the Sohrab Goth area of Karachi, near Port Qasim, at the Abu Bakar Mosque. The victim, Imam Mufti Kaiser Farooq, who was returning from the mosque, was gunned down by two motorcycle-borne attackers. Video footage has emerged clearly showing the targeted attack on Imam Kaiser Farooq. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries in the hail of bullets, while a student accompanying him was wounded. Kaiser Farooq hailed from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region and had ties to Dera Ismail Khan.
