Government offices not paying electricity bills

Nahan October 4 :- Many Government offices at Nahan had become defaulter of HP State Electricity Board and the pending amount had touched  to Rupees more than 25 lakh so far. As per the record of HPSEB the highest  amount had to be paid by the Health Department
which had gone to Rs. 21,45,804/- the next was Education Department who had to pay Rs. 3,28,204 lakh followed by  Ayurvedic Department with Rs. 39,563/-

The HPSEB officials claimed that they had served many notices to the  different departments to deposit the pending amount at the  earliest possible but said that they could not disconnect their power connections as per the directions of the Government. The only urged
these departments to deposit the pending bills.
