Virbhader Singh releases a book of poems "A voice in Rhymes" written by Neha Dutt

Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh today released a poetry book titled “A voice in Rhymes" written by Neha Dutt. The book   contains as many as 40 small poems basically circling around the life of Indian women 

The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of Neha Dutt and said that the poems voices out the thoughts of the young author on the position of women grappling to keep her womb pure by evading abortions and other hurdles and pain they go through in their life. 

He complimented the budding poetess for penning down her feelings and thoughts on sensitive issues besides pursuing her studies.

He said that Neha Dutt has high level of sensibility, maturity and sensitivity to the environment around her and is able to creatively capture its ambience in her poems. Equally, she has been quite sensitive to the day-to-day happenings. Some of the poems composed by her on gender issues leave everyone pondering whether savage elements in our society will ever allow us to live in peace. He said that all the poems are thought provoking and strike the emotional cords deeply.

Neha Dutt, the young and budding poetess of Shimla has come out with her second poetry collection, “A Voice in Rhyme”.

Her first book titled “Cloud’s Eye” was published in 2009, when she was 19 year old.
