Palampur. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Monday met the family members of the victim of the heart-wrenching incident that took place in Palampur recently. While coming to Sujanpur from Dharamshala, the Chief Minister met the people gathered near Nalti Da bridge in Sulh and listened to them. The victim’s parents are with the daughter in PGI Chandigarh, so other members of the family informed the Chief Minister about the entire incident. He demanded strictest action against the attacker.

After listening to him, the Chief Minister said that he is saddened by the painful incident in Palampur. Himachal government will bear the entire expense of the treatment of the victim’s daughter. The government stands with the victim’s family. Necessary directions have been given to SP Kangra. Since the incident, updates are being taken from police officers daily. Accused has been arrested. Mere arrest is not our objective. There is a need to move in the direction of why such incidents are being carried out. We want to know why such incidents are happening. The law and order situation in the state is completely fine, no one will be allowed to break the law. During this, Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma, Political Advisor to the Chief Minister, Cabinet Rank Sunil Sharma, Principal IT Advisor to the Chief Minister, Cabinet Rank Gokul Butel, OSD Ritesh Kaprate, Chairman Sanjay Chauhan, Vishal Chambiyal etc. were present along with the Chief Minister.
