Governor Unveils Bust of Lt. General Daulat Singh in Shimla

Shimla, October 10, 2023: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today unveiled the bust of former Lt. General Daulat Singh at Daulat Singh Park on the Ridge in Shimla.

On the occasion, the Governor said that the dedication and supreme sacrifice of the army heroes towards the nation would always remain inspiring for the countrymen. He said that Lt. General Daulat Singh led the army with excellence under his vision and skilful strategy.

GOC-in-C ARTRAC, S.S. Mahal, son of Lt. General Daulat Singh, Surendra Daulat, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Shimla Surendra Chauhan and Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal, Secretary to the Governor, Rajesh Sharma, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Shimla, Bhupendra Attri, officers from military and district administration and other prominent persons were also present on the occasion.

Lt. General Daulat Singh was a distinguished army officer who served the nation with dedication and distinction. He was a role model for all soldiers and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
