Haryana Chief Minister lays foundation stone of building of All India Federation of Master Printers at IMT Manesar

Chandigarh, June 25 –

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal laid the foundation stone for the construction of building of All India Federation of Master Printers at IMT Manesar, Gurugram after Bhoomi Pujan. This building will be constructed on an area of about 1,400 square metre in Sector-2, Manesar.

 He further said that the importance of printing has not declined over the years. He said that the All India Federation of Master Printers was established 70 years ago and since then there has been a lot of change in the printing techniques. He elaborated that a writer conveys his ideas to the people through his writings. However, writing and publishing has been replaced by digital platforms, but it is necessary to develop both the platforms together.

Sharing his life experiences, the Chief Minister said that he had learnt the printing press work during his school days. He said that presently printing courses are being run in five universities of Haryana. He said that he is pleased that the Association has chosen Haryana to construct its building.

Earlier, Padma Shri awardee and Editor-in-Chief, Punjab Kesari Group, Sh. Vijay Kumar Chopra said that he got the opportunity to meet Haryana Chief Minister for the first time today. He said that it has been possible to get this land allotted for the construction of this building only under the dynamic leadership of Sh. Manohar Lal.
Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, President of the Association, Sh. P Chandra said that a grand building would be constructed on this land, which would benefit the entire country.
