Haryana CM Approves Over Rs 10.59 Crore for Improvement of 9 ODR Roads in Karnal District
Chandigarh, July 9 – Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh has granted administrative approval for the special repair and improvement of nine ODR (Other District Roads) in Karnal district, with an investment exceeding Rs 10.59 crore. According to a government spokesperson, this project includes the widening and strengthening of several roads: 4.151 km from Karnal-Kaithal Road to village Pingli Narukhedi at a cost of Rs 1.04 crore, 2.250 km from village Kachhwa to Dera Purbiyan Road at Rs 1.24 crore, and 1.650 km from village Shahpur to village Kalampur Road costing Rs 85.22 lakh. Additionally, the project will strengthen the Dabri Kalampur approach road for over Rs 1.58 crore, and the 3.400 km road from village Kalampur to Kachhwa for Rs 95.91 lakh. Further, in Karnal district, a 4.320 km road from village Kachhwa to Zarifabad will be widened and strengthened at a cost of Rs 2.19 crore, a 2.300 km road from village Ghoghdipur to Pingli will be strengthened for Rs 1.13 crore, a 4.100 km road from village Kachhwa to Bahlolpur will be widened and strengthened for Rs 1.34 crore, and a 1.100 km road from Karnal-Kachhwa-Sambli-Kaul road to Pundrak will be improved for Rs 22.78 lakh. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing road infrastructure and ensuring smoother connectivity in the region.
