Haryana CM Nainab Saini to Contest Karnal Assembly By-Election

Haryana Chief Minister Nainab Saini is set to contest the upcoming Karnal Vidhan Sabha by-elections after being declared the BJP candidate for the seat. The voting for the by-election will coincide with the Lok Sabha elections on May 25th. The Karnal assembly seat had been vacant since the resignation of former CM Manohar Lal. Manohar Lal Khattar is the BJP candidate from the Karnal Lok Sabha seat.

Currently serving as the President of the Haryana BJP, CM Nainab Saini is also a Member of Parliament from the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency.

Reacting to his candidature, CM Nainab Saini expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, former CM Manohar Lal Khattar, and all central leadership for nominating him as the BJP candidate for the Karnal Vidhan Sabha by-election.
