Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Approves ₹77 Crore for Road Development Across 20 Constituencies

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has given administrative approval for an allocation of more than ₹77.45 crore for the special repair and improvement of 83 roads spanning across 20 different constituencies in the state. These roads collectively cover a length of over 188 kilometers, ensuring significant infrastructure enhancement that will facilitate smoother transportation, promote economic activity, and improve connectivity in both urban and rural areas.

According to a government spokesperson, road construction and maintenance are integral to the overall development of the state. Roads are not merely a means of transport; they serve as lifelines for economic growth, social mobility, and industrial progress. Well-maintained roads contribute significantly to the ease of doing business, agricultural trade, and access to essential services. The spokesperson emphasized that the “double-engine government” is fully committed to infrastructure development, and this approval will enhance transportation facilities, boost industrial expansion, and strengthen business activities across Haryana.

Under this initiative, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has sanctioned ₹10.48 crore for the special repair and improvement of 16 roads in the Radaur constituency, covering a length of approximately 26.92 kilometers. Additionally, ₹11.60 crore has been allocated for 15 roads in the Samalkha constituency, with a combined length exceeding 26 kilometers. These improvements are expected to greatly benefit residents, businesses, and farmers who rely on these roads for daily commutes and commercial transport.

Further enhancing road infrastructure, the Chief Minister has also approved ₹14.38 crore for 14 roads in the Sirsa constituency, spanning a total distance of 26.61 kilometers. Similarly, ₹9.05 crore has been sanctioned for the repair and improvement of four roads in the Barwala constituency under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) scheme, covering a total of 16.85 kilometers.

Focusing on the Fatehabad district, an allocation of ₹8.60 crore has been approved for nine roads in the constituencies of Tohana, Ratia, and Fatehabad, covering a total length of 37.90 kilometers. This includes ₹2.33 crore for three roads in Tohana, ₹3.44 crore for five roads in Ratia, and ₹2.81 crore for one major road in Fatehabad.

In addition to these developments, ₹5.73 crore has been sanctioned for six roads in the constituencies of Guhla and Uchana, collectively covering 16.52 kilometers. Of this amount, ₹4.84 crore has been allocated for four roads in Guhla, while ₹89.95 lakh has been approved for two roads in Uchana.

The Chief Minister has also approved ₹8.60 crore for ten roads across the constituencies of Kalanaur, Meham, Gadhi Sapla Kiloi, Badli, Beri, Indri, and Mullana, with a total length of 24.64 kilometers. Furthermore, an amount of ₹8.97 crore has been allocated for nine roads in the constituencies of Pataudi, Pehowa, Rania, and Sohna.

The spokesperson reaffirmed that the state government is dedicated to improving road connectivity across Haryana, ensuring that infrastructure development keeps pace with the needs of a growing economy. By enhancing road conditions and connectivity, the government aims to support farmers, traders, industrialists, and residents, ultimately driving progress and prosperity across the state.
