Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Confident of BJP’s Unity and Victory, Denies Infighting Claims
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Denies BJP Infighting, Confident of Securing Third Term Amidst Congress ‘Jhooth Ki Dukan’ Claims
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has refuted allegations of internal discord within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and expressed confidence that his party will secure a third consecutive term in the upcoming state elections. Speaking to the media, Saini dismissed any concerns of factionalism, particularly between key leaders Anil Vij and himself, insisting that the BJP remains united as it heads into the election battle.
“There is no infighting, no factionalism. We are all united,” Saini emphasized, adding, “Both Anil Vij and I, as senior leaders, are leading the election campaign together. The BJP is a democratic party where anyone can voice their opinion. Ultimately, the parliamentary board will decide, and all of us will abide by their decision. There is no fight, and there won’t be any.”
Saini expressed strong confidence in the BJP’s chances, stating that voters will choose the “double-engine” government for its development agenda. “There is no confusion among voters. They will cast their votes for the BJP, and we will achieve a hat-trick in Haryana. I am fully confident of it,” he remarked.
The Haryana CM also launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is set to embark on the second leg of his ‘Haryana Sankalp Yatra’. Saini described Gandhi’s visit as “political tourism,” accusing him of only appearing in the state for election purposes. “No senior Congress leader was campaigning in Haryana until now, and suddenly Rahul Gandhi is engaging in political tourism,” Saini said.
He further challenged Gandhi to witness firsthand the development achieved under the BJP’s decade-long rule, while also reminding voters of the Congress-led government’s past, marked by corruption. “He (Gandhi) will be faced with tough questions from voters regarding the ‘kharchi’ and ‘parchi’ culture that was rampant during Bhupinder Hooda’s tenure,” Saini stated, referring to the alleged irregularities in the previous Congress government.
With the BJP gearing up for the elections, Saini remains optimistic that the party’s focus on development and good governance will resonate with the people, dismissing Congress’s claims as mere “jhooth ki dukan” (shop of lies).
